Hi! I am Giulio, an Italian software engineer.
At Tot, I am a senior backend engineer in the cards & payments team, where I focus on building and optimizing payment systems, using TypeScript and functional programming tools like fp-ts and io-ts.
Previously, at QA Ltd (formerly Cloud Academy Inc.), I was part of a dynamic team dedicated to developing the skill readiness solution. We created products that empowered our customers to track and enhance their tech skills.
I also worked for Immobiliare.it SpA, where I completely rewrote the service responsible for helping people find the house they love [1 🔍], and developed the service that manages the messages exchanged between users on the platform [2 💬].
I hold a master’s degree (laurea magistrale 🇮🇹) in Information Technology Engineering from Università degli Studi Guglielmo Marconi, obtained in 2021. Following this achievement, I successfully passed the state exam to become a professional engineer in Italy.
In 2024, I completed an MBA program at LUISS Business School, motivated by the goal of integrating technical innovation with strategic business insight.
